Washington’s coast experiences an oceanic climate which tends to be less extreme both in hot and cold temperatures compared to areas farther inland. This makes the coast a popular place for people escaping the summer heat and the winter cold to enjoy a fairly moderate climate year-round.
Thanks to the moderate temperatures year-round there is very little opportunity for snowfall in Copalis. Instead, much of the year will see primarily rain as precipitation which contributes significantly to the vast wilderness and nearby rain forests. We also still enjoy a relatively drier summer perfect for kite flying and beach combing.
